Cindy baked a confetti birthday cake and cupcakes to eat after dinner and bought a tub of my favorite ice cream- Blue Bunny Double Strawberry! I was surprised that she remembered that- but hey, that's what sisters are for!
I got so many awesome gifts from all of the girls at the dorm! They are all just so sweet! Cindy got me some art supplies...including a set of new colored pencils in loads of different colors, a Tinkerbell stamp, and a paint set! I cant wait to use them! Lanie and Sarah got me two monkey figurines that I've been wanting for a long time. Hope gave me a warm, pink American Girl hoodie- which is SO me because hot pink is my absolute favorite color! Faith gave me this super-crazy-awesome scarf that is loads of bright and happy colors! It is soooo soft!! McKenna got me a pink eraser pig. It is so cute that I just don't want to use it!! Hollie LOVES to bead...so she made me a super-chic peace sign bracelet. Harper got me duct tape, and Saige and Isabelle saved up their money together to buy me a cute pink clutch purse!
Guess who got me these pink poodle slippers?! You'll never believe it! TREY! Who knew that he would know that it is the perfect gift for me?? He claims that he "picked them out all by himself"... but by the look that Cindy gave me, I could tell that he might've gotten a helping hand!
I know that my slippers don't match my pretty party dress but they are soooooo comfy that I am going to wear them for the rest of my life!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the birthday wishes! Our table and chairs are not AG so they are a bit "larger scale" than we would like but we do like to "recycle, reuse & reduce" so we use it. However, we are thinking about cutting the legs down a bit so the table is a better height for us when we are standing around chatting. The table and chairs came as part of a "baby doll" set that also included a cradle and high chair. We do see it now and again on eBay so I'd suggest checking there since we got this many years ago at Costco. ~Christina ♫

Unfortunately, those color blocks behind the gadget titles came written in the background html so we have no clue how to change it. ReplyDeleteHi there, Yes, we do! We used several but mostly we use Photoshop. Our best tip is to get your photos as near perfect IN camera before taking it into your editing software. Nail your exposure and composition during capture and then you can do a bit in some post processing software. Good luck!!!! ~Christina ♫

Hi there Christina, I just wanted to say that I love this blog! I am already a college graduate, which may seem a little old for AG, though I'm actually still waiting for my first AG doll (I never got one growing up), and as I save up and wonder which one I'll get, I really enjoy reading your posts and looking at your pictures. I am so impressed with your dorm, the furniture and all your decorations, and all the beautiful outfits for the girls. It also bring me such joy to see that all the girls in the house are Christian! It must be a really great group of girls :) Please keep posting, and I'll be thinking about how to start my own AG collection one day. I hope my future AG girls can live in a dorm as cool as yours!
