{ Creepy Coconut Exchange }

Cindy here!  My friend Hope and I participated in a fun exchange for Halloween called "Creepy Coconut".  Now, I don't have a clue why they called it this but hey, I'm all for super fun surprises!

So, we signed up with a group of girls on the American Girl Playthings Message Board that ended up totaling 24.  Then each of the 24 of us girls makes (23) of an item and mails it to a central address where the Creepy Coconut Coordinator then fills 24 boxes with one of each item and puts it back in the mail to each of us girls!  We baked 23 Jack-o-lantern cookies and popped them in the mail by the initial mailing deadline.  Then we had to wait.........ever so patiently........(NOT!) for our package to arrive. The suspense was killing us!

Finally the box arrived and there were sooooooo many fun surprises inside our HUGE box!  I wish we had taken a photo of the box before we opened it but we were so excited we ripped it into a million pieces before we ever thought about it!  Whoopsie!

We immediately put everything out...it will all be perfect for our upcoming Halloween party next weekend!

Hope was super excited to show off all the goodies we got! She insisted on wearing some of the surprises; an orange fleece fringe scarf, an adorable bottle cap necklace and a beaded bracelet that says "BAT".  I have to admit, they do look really cute on her.  I am wearing another cute beaded bracelet in fun Halloween colors and I also got a butterfly hair clip!
Here's a list of some of the rest of the goodies; several adorable hair barrettes and ties, a jack-o-lantern candy bag, lots of cute erasers, a totally yummy jumbo swirly lolly, two smaller size lollies, candy boxes, a glow-in-the-dark skeleton (oh, I am sooo gonna scare someone with this!) and a glow-in-the-dark creepy crawly bug that is just crying out to be hidden under the sheets in someone's bed - EEK!  ;)  We also got a "Happy Halloween" sign and a cool garland banner to hang with our paper ring garland we made.

We also got some other really neat things...so many we cannot even list them all!  We're all looking forward to using them at our party!

{ Taking a break with Meatloaf }

Sup peeps!  As many of ya'll know, I get to do some modeling gigs for an up-and-coming clothing designer.  I have loads of fun but sometimes all that attention; hair, makeup and posing can wear me out...seriously, a boy needs a break!  Oh, here's me striking my "I'm totally cool" pose! :)

Back to needing a break; so, my sister, Hope, let me bring her dog, Meatloaf with me on my modeling gig today.  So, during my break, I played ball with him.  It was a lot of fun!  Meatloaf is a bulldog and is a super fun to play with.  He loves to chase the ball and bring it back for me to throw...again and again and again and...well, you get the idea, right?

I had a great time today...the weather was so nice...a perfect Fall day!  I got to earn some green and Meatloaf got to play.  It's don't get any better than that!  See you peeps again soon.
